TO ensure future generations can enjoy the landmark buildings and green spaces, Whitehill Town Council wants to be part of the management team that will safeguard what it described as "the assets of the town".

Members made the decision after hearing a presentation by the eco-town theme lead for sustainable development, Bruce Collinson.
