THE Farnham Pilgrim Marathon last September was a resounding success and raised thousands of pounds for its chosen charities.

At a recent meeting, the organiser Farnham Weyside Rotary Club was delighted to be able to present cheques to Jurgita Paul of the Woodlarks Centre and Joy Valcarcel from the Alzheimer’s Society.

Jurgita thanked Farnham Weyside for its donation and said that it would help the Woodlarks Centre advance and make a difference to those in its care.

Joy, in expressing her gratitude, commented that the donation would significantly help the work of the Alzheimer’s Society.
