PLANS to erect a 27-metre high telecommunications tower on Marley Common have been given the go-ahead by Chichester District Council despite strong objections from a variety of local groups and organisations.
At a meeting of the area development control committee on May 8 the committee decided to permit the Vodafone Ltd development in the grounds of the Rosemary Park Nursing Home.
