ALTON and Basingstoke Cardiac Rehab said a big ‘thank you’ before Christmas to the volunteers who regularly donate their time to help run the Cardiac Rehab charity shop on Market Street in Alton.

And no thanks were more deserving than those given to Mary who, on December 23, celebrated her 90th birthday and, after six years working in the shop, had decided to retire.
