SEALE resident, charity fund-raiser and entertainer Matthew Mitchell has completed his 100th marathon race which qualifies him as a full member of the prestigious 100 Marathon Club.

Matthew started running 10 years ago but has completed 75 races over the full 26.2 mile marathon distance in the last three years alone.

He has helped raise a lot of money for charity in recent years, and in particular, for Leukaemia Research, and is well known locally as an entertainer who sings popular music in the Rat Pack style.
