MAY Day celebrations last Friday at St Mary’s Infant School in Frensham included a secret ballot to choose a king and queen to lead the festivities, with their four attendants elected by their class members.
The May King and May Queen spent the day making wise decisions and setting a good example to all their subjects.
Parents decorated the central stage with flowers and greenery from their gardens and after the crowning ceremony, each class performed a maypole dance and a country dance.
