THE Mayor and Mayoress of Farnham, John and Gillian Ward, opened Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society’s new home care service this week.

Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society has 30 years’ experience as one of Surrey’s leading providers of sheltered, residential and nursing care.

Its new home care service aims to provide a person-centred service tailored to individual requirements, personal choices and wishes.

This includes help and support with personal care and assistance with tasks and activities associated with daily living including domestic chores.

The society believes in providing a “bespoke service which empathises quantity as well as quality”. With this in mind the minimum of time spent with each person is 30 minutes.

The services provided are delivered by healthcare professionals who undertake a full induction and all mandatory training in line with CQC requirements.

Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society is a registered charity run by a board of professional volunteers with an appointed chief executive to oversee operations.
