DIGNITARIES, councillors, friends and family enjoyed an evening of humour as the retiring town mayor Pat Frost held a reception to thank everyone for their support during her mayoral year, in the Great Hall at Farnham Castle.

“What a privilege it’s been to be your town mayor for the past year, it has been absolutely fantastic.” said Mrs Frost.

“Farnham does face many challenges, has faced many challenges but it faces them eye ball to eye ball. We’re looking people in the face, we’re not afraid to actually have our own views even though others are trying to convince us otherwise.

“That is one of the strengths about this council, we actually have great strength in that and for me it’s one of the joys of being on this council. I am very grateful for all of your support during my year in office.”
