THE mayor and mayoress of Waverley, John and Gillian Ward, were game for learning some elementary circus skills during a three-day theatre and circus festival organised by young people.

More than 1,000 people attended the Theatre Meadows performances and workshops at the big top on the meadows next to the complex.
