JEREMY Hunt, the MP for South West Surrey, has called for towns in the county to have their own elected mayors.

In his support for the Conservatives' new "blueprint for local democracy, Mr Hunt said: "I would love Farnham, Godalming and Haslemere all to have their own elected mayors."
