ALTON'S Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital site is to be sold to property developer Alfred McAlpine.
One of the country's leading construction companies, McAlpine was responsible for the recent development on Eggars playing field and is also known to have registered an 'option to purchase' 50 acres of land at Willhall Farm on the Basingstoke Road.
