THE Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital Company is warning members of the public that the first meeting of East Hampshire District Council 's new planning north committee on Thursday, September 2, could have a lasting impact on the future of Alton's sensitive Treloar Hospital site.
The meeting is to determine a second application to build 145 houses on the site, put forward by health authority agent, Capitec. Approval of the plan would have a devastating effect on the local campaign to retain healthcare on the site.
