LOCAL Tory MEP Roy Perry is urging local residents to fight their corner following the announcement this week that Hampshire could be expected to absorb 170,000 new houses up to the year 2016.
Mr Perry is outraged by the proposal, which, he feels, is designed to attract "massive inflows of population" into the county rather than providing housing for those already here.
