THE future of the Zeneca Agrochemicals site in Fernhurst remains uncertain following the announcement of the company's plans to merge with a rival crop protection and seeds business.
Plans to merge Zeneca's agrochemicals business with Novartis' crop protection and seeds business to create the world's first global, dedicated "agribusiness" company, which will be known as Syngenta, were announced last week.
