AFTER months of uncertainty, Bordon's secondary school has a new headteacher.

The University of Chichester Academy Trust has appointed Paul Hemmings as principal of Mill Chase Academy. He will start work at Easter.

Mr Hemmings joins Mill Chase from The Costello School in Basingstoke, where he has been deputy head for six years.

Previously, he worked at Robert May's School in Odiham for three years, serving as assistant headteacher and, prior to that, he taught in a Cambridgeshire school as director of sixth form.
