HASLEMERE looks set to celebrate the millennium in style, thanks to a £4,380 cash boost from the town council.
The plans, which have been drawn un by the Haslemere Millennium Trust, include a huge fireworks display and street party in the High Street on New Year's Eve, a carnival abd a Songs of Praise event on Lion Green, and the production of a special Millennium Festival brochure.
