LISS residents of all ages gathered in the Centenary Garden at the Newman Collard Playing Fields on Sunday afternoon to see the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire Mary Fagan officially open the millennium mosaic.

Mrs Fagan was welcomed by the chairman of East Hampshire District Council, Sqn. Ldr. Geoffrey Whittle.
