SECRETARY of State for Education Michael Gove was grilled by students preparing their own party political broadcast at Farnham Heath End School last Friday.

Mr Gove was visiting the school at the invitation of Nick Phillips, headteacher, who met him at a meeting in November.

"I had invited Mr Gove as I am proud of the school and wanted to show him how good we are," said Mr Phillips.

Michael Gove had the opportunity to sit in on a number of lessons including a year seven 'Opening Minds' session where students were preparing a party political broadcast as part of a unit on the British political system.
