A DOG has been reunited with his relieved owners after going missing for two weeks and travelling 16 miles after wandering off from Fernhurst.

Bentley, a Labrador, was found in Compton, near South Harting. Dog warden Viviane Magrath was called by a homeowner who reported he had managed to get into her garden.

Bentley, who belongs to the Watson family from Farnham, managed to escape while on a trip with Rebecca Watson, who was working in Fernhurst.

After Viviane called her with the good news that Bentley had been found, the mum immediately drove to the council's kennels to be reunited with the family pet.
