THE Ministry of Defence has been accused of hypocrisy, after allowing Hollywood to set up camp at Hankley Common just days after announcing plans to restrict public access to the popular beauty spot.

But just days later a film crew began a four-month stint on Hankley Common, during which time they warned that 30 hectares of protected species and important habitats were likely to be "affected adversely".
It is widely believed that the company in question is Eon Productions, which is currently filming the latest James Bond instalment, Skyfall.
