CYCLISTS expressed their frustration this week after being told not to cycle on Army land in Whitehill and Bordon because the Ministry of Defence insists the rules have prohibited it for decades.

Lindford resident Michael Grant said he had been told twice in the past month that he was not allowed to ride his bike on any of the Army's land around the town, despite having done so without incident for the past few years.

He described it as a "shabby piece of anti-community work" and said it has "completely and utterly wrecked" his fitness schedule.
