Farnham’s St Andrew’s Church is to host a series of public conversations called Monasterium, with the first focusing on modern slavery.
The talk, Slavery: Right Here, Right Now, will take place on Monday (February 27) from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Allison Sutcliffe, a speaker from the Guildford Diocese, will be leading the discussion. The event is free to attend and refreshments will be served.
Modern slavery is the exploitation of people through forced labour, trafficking, debt bondage and other forms of coercion.
