LIPHOOK'S carnival committee has again had a difficult job choosing this year's festivities royalty at the end-of-term junior school disco.

Shoplifter banned from wearing wigs after series of thefts across East HampshireCarnival chairman Karen Feeney said: "All of the girls were lovely and had some interesting stories about their involvement with the carnival and ways in which they felt it could be improved.
"They are definitely all future chairwomen for the committee. We are delighted to announce that this year's princess is Mollie Jones and her two attendants are Katie Green and Charlie Fagan. This year's Queen will be Holly Mees. I would like to thank all those who took part by entering."
This year's carnival is on Saturday, October 26, and plans for the big day are already well under way
