COMMUTERS using Liphook station have to endure yet another price increase, after it was confirmed car park charges have gone up by 50p per day for rail users since the beginning of January.

The move could push even more parking into surrounding streets, residents fear.

The price for parking during peak hours rose to £3.50 from Monday to Friday and after 10.30am it costs £2 per day, including Saturdays.

Season tickets come to £17.50 weekly, £60 monthly, £180 for three months and £660 annually.

Charges have also gone up at Haslemere station.
