WRECCLESHAM residents may feel a little besieged over the coming week, with temporary traffic lights scheduled on both main roads serving the village.
Surrey County Council is set to reinstate a section of pavement and carriageway in Echo Barn Lane either this Friday (November 11), or Monday or Tuesday next week - necessitating two-way signals between School Hill and Quennells Hill.
Separate to this, South East Water is set to replace a leaking water supply pipe opposite The Bear & Ragged Staff pub in The Street, requiring traffic lights for up to four days starting on Sunday.
On the opposite side of Farnham, a section of Roman Way off Hale Road is set to close on weekdays between November 8 and 14, with the county council set to replace degraded parts of the carriageway.
