A PANEL has been set up to liaise with the builders of the controversial former King Edward VII hospital.

It was set up by the South Downs National Park Authority's head of planning Tim Slaney and will be chaired by Margaret Paren.

The authority gave permission for the hospital site to be developed and house 400 new homes in November, despite fierce local opposition.
