RESIDENTS and motorists in Upper Hale face yet more traffic misery in early 2015 because road resurfacing work carried out in the summer was not up to scratch.

The stretch of the A3016 Upper Hale Road between the Alma Lane and Farnborough Road junctions was resurfaced by Surrey County Council contractors last August and September.

But just four months later, sections of the new road surface have already started to break up - blocking drains with debris and exposing the original road surface to traffic.
