PARENTS, grandparents and children of all ages enjoyed creating mosaics for the Hale Children’s Centre as a summer holiday activity.

This community project was funded by the South Street Trust and run by Denise Jaques, an award-winning artist specialising in mosaics.

The groups have created a large mosaic ‘welcome’ sign for the centre, mosaic post panels to decorate the entrance and sun catchers.

Parents commented on how much they enjoyed this relaxing and therapeutic activity which had been welcome break in their busy summer holiday.
