ROWLEDGE Church of England Primary School has received a cheque for £1,000 from the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies’ Alton branch to help pay for its “amazing” new mosaic.

The mosaic was designed and made by all of the children within the school and provided a special start to their new school year, with the help of David Bowers from Mosaic Madness.

Headteacher Sarah Oliver wanted the children to all contribute to a piece of work which included their school values and all of the special things that happened within the school.

Each child was able to point out the particular part that they created.
