PLANS are in the pipeline to try and put the district's tourist industry back on the right track in the wake of the foot-and-mouth crisis.

A massive publicity campaign is one of the measures which will be used to try and allure visitors back to local attractions to revive the local tourism economy which is worth £53 million a year in the district.
