EAST Hampshire MP Damian Hinds has added his voice to the growing protest against the possible closure of the Children's Cardiac Unit at Southampton Hospital.

Speaking in the Commons debate on the review led by the joint committee of Primary Care Trusts into the reconfiguration of specialist children's heart surgery units in hospitals, Mr Hinds said: "This is about saving lives, not about saving money."
