MP James Arbuthnot (North East Hampshire) has called on the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to allow RAF Odiham to remain as the home of the RAF's Chinook support helicopter fleet.
Under Project Belvedere, a study begun in 2005 investigating bringing together all the RAF's helicopter fleets in one place as the future Joint Helicopter Command (JHC) Battlefield Helicopter force, Odiham stands to lose its Chinook helicopter fleet.
