PARISH councillors in Elstead lodged their objections at a special planning meeting this week to new plans from Barratt Homes to build 22 houses in the village.
And south west Surrey MP Virginia Bottomley has joined Elstead councillors and residents in opposing the new proposals as well as plans to turn the site at Croft Nurseries, between Springhill and Hookley Lane, into a scrapyard.
