EAST Hampshire MP Damian Hinds has stepped in to salvage what he can of a plan to turn Bordon's Mill Chase Community Technology College into a state-of-the-art eco-secondary school, with a possible sixth form, after Government spending cuts left it under threat.
Under Labour's Building Schools for the Future programme, Mill Chase was to form part of the eco-town reshuffle by being moved to another site - either in Budds Lane, Bordon, or in Hollywater - and its new building would have enjoyed all the latest educational technology aids, as well as being eco-friendly and possibly having a sixth form too.
