EAST Hampshire MP Damian Hinds, together with district councillor Angela Glass, helped Colonel James Jack launch the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Sainsbury’s on Saturday.
Mr Hinds said: “I was delighted once again to join Jamie Jack and some of his team for the launch of this year’s Poppy Appeal at Sainsbury’s.
“The generosity and support given by people is quite remarkable, and the appeal serves to remind all of us of the sacrifices made by so many in the past and the sacrifices still being made by our brave armed forces operating in difficult situations right across the world.”
This year’s Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday, November 12, at St Mary’s Church in Bramshott, starting at 10.30am.
