YOUNGSTERS at Farnham Heath End School were allowed to spend time lounging around in their pyjamas last Friday with local MP Jeremy Hunt.
The Comic Relief Pyjama Party saw students come to school dressed in their bedroom attire in order to raise almost £1,500 on Red Nose Day.
Jeremy Hunt was the school's mystery guest on the day, who agreed to help run the event in his pyjamas as long as each form collected some money to donate to the cause.
The day was organised by year 11 GCSE citizenship students Hannah Bruton, Hannah Davies, Grace Simms, Aaron Hall and Sophie Brittain.
"We worked hard to organise the day and we are really grateful that Mr Hunt could come and help us," said Miss Bruton.
"We still can't believe that the combined efforts of the school, including some fantastic individual efforts raised so much money. Each tutor group raised funny money to encourage Mr Hunt to come in his pyjamas and we had students doing sponsored silences and one who spent Sunday walking around Farnham Park in pyjamas collecting money. We are really impressed with everyone's generosity and would like to thank Mr Hunt for making the day really special."
