HASLEMERE MP Jeremy Hunt stood up to public criticism over his expenses last week, including the revelation that he allowed his agent to stay rent-free in his taxpayer-funded second home.

At a public meeting in Farnham Maltings on Friday evening, the Tory MP for South West Surrey defended his expenses and called for a radical reform of central and local government.
