CONCERN that the new Health and Social Care Bill could pose a threat to Haslemere Hospital is being taken straight to the top.

This week South West Surrey MP Jeremy Hunt called on Health Secretary Andrew Lansley to clarify if, as local supporters fear, the bill will disadvantage the hospital because in future it will need to be linked solely with one county.
