Dazzling Christmas convoy to hit the road as Tractor Run returns to Petersfield areaTAG Farnborough wants to introduce a new "operating environment", with elements of "controlled" airspace around the airport which, it claims, will improve efficiency and enhance safety for airport users.
But critics say it could seriously impact on users of Class G airspace (uncontrolled) in the wider area, as well as increasing noise overhead across much of East Hampshire.
Mr Hinds has written to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to reiterate his belief that the consultation proc-ess was flawed, and to point out that the current timeline for next steps is significantly longer than initially planned. In response, the CAA indicated the process will continue and the consultation "does not constitute a referendum".
