THE Chancellor's Budget has been welcomed, not just as a boost to business but for the help it affords to pensioners and savers.

George Osborne stepped up in the House of Commons last Wednesday, to present his penultimate Budget before the 2015 general election.

According to East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds, the aim of the Budget was to "continue the economic recovery and to give economic security to households across the UK."

The MP?for Liphook said: "The economy is forecast to grow this year by 2.7 per cent – the biggest upwards revision between budgets for 30 years – and the deficit has fallen by a third. In addition, one-and-a-half million jobs are forecast over the next five years with real earnings growing each year."

Mr Hinds said the four main strands to the Budget look set to benefit his constituents and businesses.
