HASLEMERE will get its eagerly-awaited Marks & Spencer food hall and cafe on March 31, when the store will be officially opened at 10am.

M&S said the new branch at Lion Green, Wey Hill, has brought nearly 50 new jobs to the area and customers will benefit from its free car park.

The store will include a Coffee to Go for takeaway drinks and snacks, and a cafe. Online shoppers can take advantage of its Food to Order and Shop Your Way services, with free next day, in-store delivery and collection.

Store manager Abigail Pockett said: “The team and I are really excited to unveil our wonderful new store to local customers. The M&S food hall will perfectly complement the existing shopping experience in Haslemere and we look forward to becoming involved in the community and taking part in charity fundraising.

"I’m eager to hear what local residents and customers think of our new store.”
