WALKING mothers ventured into the great outdoors this week, defying the rain to kick start the Deadwater Valley Trust’s calendar of 2018 events.

Monday’s ready, steady, mums walk was just one of a host of activities in the diary.

Next Sunday, January 28, there will be a winter wildlife walk around the Inclosure, in Hogmoor Road, with a well-earned hot chocolate to round off the day.
