THE woodland area at Bordon’s Prince Phillip Barracks was transformed into a wonderland for families on Mothering Sunday.

Developer the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, with the Deadwater Valley Trust, organised the afternoon woodland event on March 6.

People of all ages enjoyed fun activities, including a walk with a fairy and elf theme, puppetry and stories.

Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer at the regeneration company, said the developer wanted to do something special for town mothers.

Various events are being held at the barracks this year, including craft markets, fairs and even a summer water fight in August.

The entrance is the barracks gate in Budds Lane.
