THE Woolmer Forest Heritage Society will get a £4,000 East Hampshire District Council grant to put toward the £11,800 cost of its Heritage For All project, which includes establishing a museum for the town at the eco-station.
Society chairman Colin Brash said the group was grateful for the grant, which would take it "one step nearer" to getting the museum.
But he added: "There are many more steps to take."
