HASLEMERE Museum will be introducing Early Birds – new friendly morning sessions aimed at families with children who have an autism spectrum condition to enjoy the museum free from the hustle and bustle of the general public.

From February and on particular dates throughout the year, the museum will open early at 9am where families can explore the galleries at their own pace and in a calm, relaxed environment. 

There will also be the opportunity to handle special objects too. 

Kay Topping, Education Officer said: “We are really pleased to be able to offer these new sessions and we look forward to welcomimg families and giving them the opportunity to visit the museum in a safe, understanding environment.”
