HASLEMERE’s Ahmadiyya Muslim community hopes for a good turnout at this month’s open day at the Jamia Ahmadiyya institute of modern languages and theology.

The institute’s open house event at Branksome Place, Hindhead Road, on Saturday, January 23 (11am-1pm), includes an introduction to the community and college and a tour of the campus, plus light refreshments with staff and students.

Teacher Ataul Momin Zahid said: “We hope this gesture of friendship serves as a means of bringing us closer.”
