THE newly-formed Hollywater Beaver colony has moved to the Mustangs building, on Bordon’s Budds Lane, meaning it can launch a Cub pack.

Scout leader, and Assistant District Commander of the Rotherfield district Scouts, Guy Townsend said Mustangs also had a useful outside space and would be in the new town centre. “Our thanks go to Mill Chase Academy and its principal Paul Hemmings for the use of the accommodation which provided the colony with a home for its first months,” he added. “Without this, we would not have been able to get going so quickly.”

The Beavers have been learning how to build a shelter with the Deadwater Valley Trust.

The new Cub pack will be for six to eight year olds. Anyone interested in their child joining can contact Mr Townsend at [email protected]. Adult helpers are also needed.
