Wrecclesham's Kevin Nash, the 1998 winner, cruised to victory in the Alice Holt Forest 10-kilometre race, promoted by Farnham Runners on Sunday.
The race had 386 finishers this year, all enjoying the ideal running weather.
Nash won the race in a superb time of 32mins 37secs.
Having represented Great Britain as a junior and run for Scotland in 2001, he is now a member of Belgrave Harriers and specialises in steeplechase racing.
"I train twice a day in the Alice Holt area as well as doing speed sessions in Bourne Woods at the weekends, completing 110 miles a week," he explained.
Jon James of Wells City Harriers was runner-up for the second year running, with 'Zippy' Grice of Stubbington Green Runners coming third.
John Campell of Aldershot, Farnham & District AC paced well to finish fifth and first in the men's veteran category. Tony Cousins of Fleet & Crookham showed his dominance in the super-veteran group.
The men's team prize went to Fleet & Crookham.
Suzanna Harrison won the ladies' race, placing 36th overall in a time of 41-02. Alton Runners' Diane Byrne was runner-up and Farnham Runners' own Jane Georghiou finished third.
Gillian Dewsnap won the ladies' veteran trophy with Christina Victor taking the super veteran prize. The ladies' team prize went to Liss Runners.

Hard-working race director Maxine Millichip thanked Kinetica Fitness Club (based at Farnham Sports Centre), Farnham Town Council and the Lilly pharmaceutical company for their generous sponsorship. The local branch of the Territorial Army provided vital support in setting up water stations and baggage tent, while numerous club members set up the course and acted as marshalls. The local Hedgehogs group also helped on the day.
Andy Green led in the Farnham Runners men's team with a fine time of 36-31 for seventh place overall. Stuart Morgan pushed himself to the limit to be 14th in 38-14. Steve Parker also gained a personal best on this course with 38-58 (23rd) and Steve Murphy (33rd in 40-44) completed a team which finished third behind very strong squads from Fleet & Crookham and Liss Runners.
Charles Ashby (41-39), Jim Bosworth (42-23), Andy Leishman (43-06) and Robert Murdoch (46-21) made up a team that came fifth.
The ladies were also unlucky in their bid for top team spot, but were creditable runners-up.
Training hard for the Berlin Marathon, Sarah Swarbreck (53-11) ran strongly, as did Mary Bosworth (54-03) to make up the team of three along with third-placed Jane Georghiou (43-15).

Chris Jackson was the worthy winner of the super-vets category in the hilly Overton 5-mile race, clocking 31-42. Robert Bevan recorded 38-41 and Clive Jones 39-16.
Jane Georghiou (68-52) came third in her age category in the Great South 10-miler, followed by John Andrews (89-57) and Nicolette Overy (92-21).
