MORE than 50 villagers dropped in for an open house hosted by Chiddingfold Parish Council at The Banking House on the green to help get the ball rolling on a Neighbourhood Plan. Chiddingfold Neighbourhood Plan was also the main topic at the annual parish assembly in the village hall when more than 100 residents seized the opportunity to think up new ways to help shape future development in the village. Parish council chairman Richard Hogsflesh said: "We are asking residents to tell us what they think the best and worst things are about Chiddingfold and what kind of a village they would like it to be in the next 15 years. "These two events marked the start of the evidence gathering in order to identify key issues and formulate ways to address them. "The challenge is to get the community engaged."
