A PROPOSAL to get a notorious lay-by used by people 'crusising' for sex on the Hogs Back closed will be put to Surrey County Council on Tuesday.

Ward councillor Tony Rooth has put the motion forward that the lay-by on the A31 between Guildford and Farnham, which provides the major access to the sex site, is closed as soon as possible.

Local residents and parents have been campaigning against the existence of a 'public sex environment' in such close proximity to a school for some time.
